2018 MCHS HOMECOMING WEEK

“Cowboy Pride”

Friday (September 28th) – Homeroom/Class Door Competition

During Homeroom on Friday, September 28th, students will decorate their homeroom doors for the upcoming Homecoming Week. The window must be left uncovered!!!!!

MONDAY (Oct 1st): Derby and Shades Day

Students will be allowed to wear their most decorative hat that they can create during the school day. Also, they will be allowed to wear their sunglasses.

TUESDAY (Oct 2nd): Throwback TUESDAY

Students will dress up in popular fashion for a prior time period

Coronation @ 7:00 (MCHS Gym)

WEDNESDAY (Oct 3rd): Cowboy Pride Day

Students will dress up in their favorite Cowboy/Cowgirl Outfit

THURSDAY (Oct 4th): Spirit Day

Classes will dress up in the following colors:

Seniors – Black

Juniors – Maroon

Sophomores – Silver/Grey

Freshmen – White

Homecoming Pep Rally during 8th Period

Friday (Oct 5th): Parade/Game

Parade at 10:00/Class Homecoming Float Competition

Homecoming Game @ 7:30 vs Dunnellon (Boot Hill)

2018 Homecoming Queen announced during Halftime.

All costumes must adhere to the MCHS dress code

Great Job to MCHS FFA Officers and Agrotechnology 1 students for showing the MCCS pre-K class what fun things are found on a farm. They learned about different farm animals like cows and chickens and learned about different Florida plants! Hope this spark seeds for future FFA Members!

MCHS Softball District Champs

On Thursday May 5, 2022 the Madison County High Softball team won 7-5 against Union County to become this year District Champs.

On Thursday May 5, 2022, the MCHS Baseball team won 16 -1 against Sneads for the District Championship. Way to Go Cowboys!
