- The PBIS character word for January is Kindness (How to demonstrate and receive kind and appropriate actions and words).Your homeroom teacher will provide valuable lessons to help fill your toolbox of success with tips for being a great citizen! You can show kindness by:
- Encouraging your peers to respect teachers, self, and others.
- Teachers, Leaps classroom challenges will be completed during homeroom classes. Once you log in to Leaps, click on "Classroom Challenges" first on your dashboard to get started. Next, find the PBIS word and click on it to begin lessons. This should be done once a week using the same word.
- Faculty and staff will nominate one student's name who will be recognized as the Student of The Month as a highlight of the character word by January 31st.
