Florida High School High Tech 2019 Jeannie Amendola Speech and Research Contest

 Lynsey Wilsey of MCHS recently participated in The Able Trust regional speech competition with other students from the Northwest/Florida Panhandle.  The topic presented for the Second Annual Jeannie Amendola Speech and Research was “Compare and Contrast Post-Secondary Education Options.”   Ms. Wilsey’s research and speech cover the choice each students faces when choosing what college to attend:  publicly funded universities, junior colleges, technical and td trade schools, and private, for-profit colleges.  Stating that all post-secondary education has its advantages and disadvantages for those choosing their career path.  Her choice will probably be North Florida Community College since it currently meets her needs and close to home.  Although she didn’t win the competition out of the seven competitors, she was definitely in the top three.
