2021 Florida Dairy Farmers 1A Mr. Football (Player of the Year) – Keyshawn Mitchell

Keyshawn finished his Senior season with 137 tackles/ 16 Tackles for Loss/ 2 Sacks/ 1 Interception/ 1 Touchdown on defense and 500 yards rushing/ 10 Touchdown’s on offense. He currently has a cumulative 3.4 GPA, is a member of the MCHS Beta Club, and has numerous football scholarship offers to attend a 4-year University.

2021 Florida Dairy Farmers 1A Football Coach of the Year – Mike Coe

Coach Coe led our Madison Cowboys to a 12-3 record while winning the 2021 Class 1A Football State Championship. Coach Coe was also named the Co-Big Bend Coach of the Year alongside Class 3A Fla. High’s Jarrod Hickman.

Great Job to MCHS FFA Officers and Agrotechnology 1 students for showing the MCCS pre-K class what fun things are found on a farm. They learned about different farm animals like cows and chickens and learned about different Florida plants! Hope this spark seeds for future FFA Members!

On Thursday May 5, 2022 the Madison County High Softball team won 7-5 against Union County to become this year District Champs.
