This notification is to ensure that parents and students fully understand the prohibition of gifts.  The education and safety of our students must remain as top priorities.  Our policy, as in the past, parents and community members have sent Valentine gifts (flowers, balloons, etc.) to students during the school day.  While well-intentioned, these gifts cause disruptions in the classrooms and present safety issues, as well.  Glass vases can break, and balloons carried onto school buses can compromise the vision required to safely deliver children from school sites.  Due to these concerns, Valentine deliveries are not allowed during school hours.

We encourage you to celebrate this special day with your children after school hours.  Thank you for your cooperation!
